Our Story
Born from a Love of Cambodia
Anachak Adventure was founded by Cambodians who wanted the world to see their country the way they see it — not through a tour bus window, but through the eyes of the people who call it home.
What We Believe
“The best travel experiences happen when visitors and communities benefit equally from every journey.”
We are not a tour operator. We are a network of local guides, village hosts, and community leaders who believe that authentic travel and responsible tourism are the same thing. Every itinerary is designed so that the people you visit are partners, not props.
Core Values
How We Travel
Local Knowledge
Our guides are Cambodians who grew up in the places they lead you through. They know every trail, village elder, and secret waterfall that no guidebook covers.
Local Food & Culture
Food is how Cambodia tells its story. Every trip includes time in village kitchens, local markets, and ceremonies — experiencing culture through the people who live it.
Community First
We only work with locally owned guesthouses, indigenous guides, and community-run lodges. Your adventure directly supports the families and villages you visit.
The Team
Meet Your Guides
Every guide is from the region they lead. That's not a policy — it's the only way this works.
Sopheak Meas
Cardamom Mountains & Wildlife
From Koh Kong Province
Raised on the edge of the Cardamom Range, Sopheak has been guiding treks through its jungle for over a decade. He speaks Chong and is a bridge between visitors and indigenous communities.
Dara Chhun
Northeast Jungle & Crater Lake
From Ratanakiri Province
Dara grew up near Yeak Laom lake and studied environmental science before returning home to share Ratanakiri's extraordinary biodiversity with the world.
Sreymom Phan
Coast, Islands & Khmer Cuisine
From Koh Rong Island
Born on Koh Rong, Sreymom leads our island and food experiences. She runs cooking workshops with her family and knows every fisherman on the southern coast.
Who We Work With
Our Community Partners
These communities are co-creators of every journey, not subcontractors. A portion of every booking goes directly to each partner community.
